THE PROFILE

We are thinking of candidates who have several years’ experience in the main world wine markets and are used to working in dynamic contexts. Excellent knowledge of English and preferably of a second language is required, as well as knowledge of the main IT tools. Availability to travel is essential.

THE PERSON

We are looking for determined and enterprising people with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Aptitude for both autonomous and team work is essential, as is organisational ability. Customer and goal-orientation are qualities that cannot be lacking, as well as analytical and problem-solving skills.

MAIN ACTIVITIES

Define the business development strategy, in agreement with the owner;
Identify new growth areas;
Manage relations with importers/distributors, brokers and brand ambassadors;
Collaborate pro-actively with the commercial departments of the various wineries in the management and development of the assigned markets;
Monitor foreign market demand, current and future customer needs;
Supervise and control sales for the countries of reference;
Follow the promotion and launch of new products;
Participate in events and trade fairs.

Contract details and compensation has to be defined after a colloquium based on experience and personal skills.

We are looking for candidates with a diploma or a degree in Economics, Communication, or Marketing. It is essential to have at least 5 years of experience in the same role, preferably in an advertising agency. Knowledge of the dynamics of the Food & Beverage sector will be considered a plus. A good command of the English language and proficiency in the main IT tools (MS Office) is also desirable.

THE PERSON

The ability to work both independently and as part of a team is essential. Active listening, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills are crucial in understanding clients’ needs. The person must have excellent analytical skills and be able to propose and adapt the best solutions for the client.

MAIN ACTIVITIES

Manage the relationship between clients and the agency;
Develop lead generation strategies for both individual and departmental needs according to the agency’s requirements;
Coordinate clients’ creative processes;
Plan projects and campaigns for assigned clients;
Prepare reports on project progress, both operational and strategic;
Attend client meetings and periodic business reviews to gather new up-sell or cross-sell opportunities to propose.

MAIN ACTIVITIES

Entry of purchase and customers orders into the management system;
Management of shipments and supporting documentation;
Invoicing;
Stock keeping and monitoring of warehouse inventories;
Co-ordination/monitoring of sampling;
Logistical record keeping;
Maintenance of marketing and sales material;
Operational development of labels (printer cards, archive, legal parts).

MAIN ACTIVITIES

Managing the operational and commercial side of the business as a back office employee;
Supporting export managers in your area;
Managing customer orders and passing them on to the wineries in your portfolio;
Contact with customers to understand their requirements and analyse their needs;
Securing and renewing orders to existing customers, thus maintaining the customer base;
Providing assistance to customers after the sale in order to solve any problem that may arise, acting as an intermediary between the customer and the company;
Managing the company’s price list/catalogue of products on sale;
Controlling the logistics of customer orders.

Contractual form: Employee contract with treatment related to the skills acquired.
